Heartfelt condolences . A beautiful life lived. Thinking of you at this difficult time.
I am so saddened to hear of Aunt Christine's passing. Both Aunt Christine and Uncle Nat, never came 'Home', without a visit to Mom and Dad's, aka Bill and Kitty's. Many a chat we'd have and also many a chuckle. I still have and use the gift they gave me when I got married. Play loud, sing with the Angels and don't let Dad sing, lol. Heaven gained a True Angel. RIP Aunt Christine.
To Winston and all Christine’s family, I am sure all the memories you hold in your hearts will bring a smile to your faces and help mend your hearts. She was quite the lady.
Dear Winston and family , my deepest condolences. My connection was not just in name but we held a very close bond . Aunt Christine always was my special aunt who shared my love for music and encourage me to keep singing in church and doing weddings , even my own which she played for me with so much support to get through that song for Byron , We shared the love for music, dogs and shared our stories. . Our visits were important to my well being and not only having common interests we shared those Penney curls. I feel now the full crew of children of Captin and Cecilia ( Pop & Nan ) along with my own Mom dad and brother , and dear cousins David and my brother like cousin Stephen are all keeping heaven hopping , lord knows when together they all kept things interesting. Heaven certainly has a talented lady in heaven with heart , soul and smile of angel. I will miss her so much. Rest in peace Aunt Christine , give my parents and Douglas a hug . I am sure Douglas was first at the gate waiting your mother’s arrival to hug Aunt Christine as she entered paradise. Love Christine , Byron and family . Forever in my heart.
I Never Met you,but you were the mum of Winston, the husband of my beloved Ricarda. Rest in Peace.
I miss our girl talks and your great sense of humor, Mom 💕
Lots of hugs and kisses for you in heaven.

Christine once was so happy to see us she walked right through our screen door.!
She was here on all our special occasions and through our illnesses.
She was freindly, brave, humorous and thoughtful. She was full speed ahead, just like her Father, Captain S.L. Penney, with a bit of her mother's good nature thrown in for good luck!
Gemologists know the highest-grade diamond is not necessarily the Largest. It's often the one with the greatest Clarity and most Facets. Mom was the "Excellent Round Brilliant Cut" of moms. Depending on the way the light hit her (or the way she chose to shine on you), she could be Regal, a sensitive little Girl, a tough as nails Sea Captain, the ultimate Nurse, a protective Lion, a talented Musician, a stern Taskmaster, a patient Teacher, a mischievious Comic, an Empath with a Third Eye, your Best Friend. Mom was all that and more. I have never cried so much. Having already lost the rest of my birth family, she leaves both a giant hole and a veritable cornucopia of treasured memories to carry in my heart the rest of my days." I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my Mommy you'll be." God bless you and keep you safe now and forever. Amen.

Sorry to hear about passing of Christine. Met her and husband in 1961 at Stevens Road Baptist church. Many memories of the years. A great couple and wonderful community activities. Wonderful examples for everyone.

Mrs. Cole taught me to play the Stephen's Road United Baptist Church organ 3 keyboards and foot pedals. She had the patience of a saint teaching a teenager. Good times. Sorry for your loss. Chris Parker
Christine was my favorite Aunt. She was there for me when I was born, and right to the end of her life. She always made sure that she had my husband, myself and my daughter in her many church choirs over the years. We spent happy times together. I could always get a laugh or a smile from her, even to the end of her days, as she could with me. I now realize what a force she was in my life. She was a gift to me!

"You know what music is? God's little reminder that there's something else beside us in this universe; harmonic connection between all living beings, everywhere, even in the stars." Robin Williams in the movie August Rush, 2007. We are so grateful for Christine's gifts of music and laughter at the Anglican Church of the Holy Spirit.
Sending warmest condolences to Christine's family.
Christine was a great lady. We use to go shopping in earlier days. Kenneth and I use to pick her up to go to choir practice at United Memorial. She enjoyed going to Tim Hortons on the way home. As time goes on, I haven’t seen Christine for awhile. But I know she’s spending time with her husband. God Bless you Christine
Condolences to her family and her friends
I know when Mom (Sue) read the obituary of the many wonderful memories of Aunt Christine, she was remembering them too.
The years that Uncle Nath and Aunt Christine lived in Oakville, close to Dad and Mom, were some of best with lots of going places and laughing.
